Nacel's Hosting Program offers your family the opportunity to share your home and daily life with a teenager from abroad for four or seven weeks during the summer, for a semester or even for a school year. You are invited to join the thousands of Nacel host families who have enjoyed exciting, unforgettable experiences since 1957.

Hosting an exchange student is a wonderful way to learn more about another country and gain a new perspective on the world. Everyday activities will be more fun when you share them with a student who is eager to discover the Canadian way of life. In addition, your whole family will grow as you exchange ideas and compare lifestyles. You'll discover a new way of looking at the world without leaving home!

Why are host families needed?

Last year close to 700 Nacel students from around the world were hosted in Canada. Many more would love to come if there were more families. Why are so many students interested in visiting Canada through Nacel?

The questionnaire lets us know your preferences so we will try our best to please you! Host families receive a comprehensive Nacel handbook to prepare them for hosting before the student arrives. Correspondence between family and student can begin with a positive matching and the excitement of an international friendship is launched!
